MHT CET 2021 Date
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the official MHT CET 2021 date for application form. Other dates including the MHT CET 2021 exam date will also be released soon. These dates will include registration, exam, and admit card release. Dates for result announcement and counselling will be announced later. Candidates can check the expected MHT CET 2021 date below:

MHT CET 2021 Admission Process
The MHT CET 2021 application form has been closed. MHT CET registration form was open from June 8 to July 15. The detailed process to fill MHT CET application form 2021 is described below
Step 1: MH CET 2021 Registration
Firstly, candidates aspiring for MHCET 2021 have to register themselves on the official portal by entering the required details. Without registration, candidates will not be able to fill the MHT CET 2021 application form.
Step 2: Filling the MHT CET application form 2021
Candidates will be required to fill in their personal details, academic details, and communication details while filling the application form. After entering all the details, candidates will be required to pay the application fee. For open/general category candidates, the application fee will be Rs 800 and for reserved category candidates, it will be Rs 600. The MHCET application fee will be paid online via debit card/credit card/net-banking.
Step 3: Download MHT CET 2021 Admit card
MHT CET 2021 admit card will be released by the Common Entrance Test Cell online. After the availability of admit card, candidates will be required to login to the official website using the required credentials.
Step 4: Appear for MHT CET 2021
MHT CET will be conducted in two slots as per the dates to be announced by the Common Entrance Test Cell later. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre for at least one hour before the commencement of the exam.
Step 5: MHT CET 2021 Result
MHT CET 2021 result will be announced online. The same will be announced by the cell later on the official website mhtcet2021.mahacet.org. The result will consist candidate's merit position, total marks obtained and marks obtained in each subject.
Step 6: Appear for MHT CET 2021 Counselling
Aspirants who clear the exam will need to appear for MH CET 2021 counselling which will tentatively be held in August.
MHT CET 2021 Eligibility
The MHT CET 2021 eligibility has been announced by the exam conducting authority along with the release of aplication form. Candidates applying for MHT CET 2021 must ensure they fulfill the conditions required for admission failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates aspiring for MHTCET 2021 can refer to the eligibility criteria (as per the last year) below:
All the candidates who have passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard or its equivalent and having Indian Nationality are eligible to appear for MHT CET 2021. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2021.
Candidature Type
Maharashtra State Candidature
A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature i.e. from Type A to E.

Type-A | (i) Candidates passing SSC and also HSC or Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science Examination from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State (ii) Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/ or is born in Maharashtra; |
Type-B | A Candidate who does not fall in Type-A above, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possess Domicile Certificate. |
Type-C | A Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP. |
Type-D | A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking. |
Type-E | Candidates passing SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognised institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi. |
All India Candidature
The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible under this category.
Minority Candidature
The Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from the State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this category.
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
These types of Candidature Candidates are exempted from appearing for MHT CET 2021.
Note: (a) It is mandatory to appear for MHT CET 2021 for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature seeking admission to BE/BTech. However, All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT CET 2021 as Score of JEE (Main) shall be preferred over MHT CET 2021 for admission to BE/BTech.
(b) It is mandatory to appear for MHT CET 2021 for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature All India Candidature seeking admission to BPharm/ PharmD
Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature
- The children of citizens, who are displaced from Jammu and Kashmir to any part of India or from unsafe border area of Jammu and Kashmir to a relatively safer place in Jammu and Kashmir from 1990 onwards due to terrorist activities
- The children of officers belonging to Indian Administrative Services (IAS) or Indian Police Services (IPS) or Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and children of staff belonging to military and paramilitary forces transferred to Jammu and Kashmir to combat terrorist activities and joined the post on or before the last date for submission of application for admission; or
- The children of staff and officers of Jammu and Kashmir police engaged in combating terrorism are eligible under this category.
Note: However as preference is given to the J & K Migrant candidates appeared for JEE (Main) over MHT CET are advised to appear for JEE(Main).

MHT CET 2021 Admit Card
MHT CET 2021 Admit Card will be released online. Candidates must go through all the details mentioned on the admit card and then download it by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of MHT CET i.e. http://cetcell.mahacet.org/ and
- Navigate to the “MHT CET 2021 Admit Card” link and click on it
- Enter the user id and password
- Click on the ‘submit’ button, the admit card will be displayed on the screen
- Take out multiple copies of MHT CET 2021 Admit Card
MHT CET 2021 Admit Card will contain the exam center address along with the date and time of the examination. Candidates will have to check the details mentioned in the admit card and report in case of any discrepancies.
MHT CET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines
What to carry on Exam Day?
MHT CET will be conducted online. Carry one ball pen along with you for rough work on a sheet at the exam hall.
What not to carry to the exam hall?
Mobile Phones, calculators, watch, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators/memory, scanner devices, Bluetooth enabled devices etc. will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
Documents required
Aspirants appearing for the exam must ensure that they carry their MHT CET admit cards to the exam centre. The hall ticket should have your photo affixed on it. Along with this, candidates must carry one valid, state/central government-issued photo identification card. The documents that can be carried are:
- Driving license
- Student Identity Card
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Passport
- Voter ID
Please note that E-Aadhaar Card and Ration Card are not valid id proofs for MHT CET 2021.
MHT CET 2021 Exam Centres
- MHT-CET 2021 will be conducted online in almost all the districts of Maharashtra
- Outside Maharasthra the Capital Districts of the selected states like Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh could be the centres for examination
- All this will depend on the availability of the candidates
- The exam centre once allotted will not be changed under any circumstances
