Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the new exam dates for JEE Main, NEET
and JEE Advanced. NEET exam is conducted for granting admission to around
1,63,150 MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and BVSc & AH seats. However, on the basis of
JEE Main 2020 admissions will be granted into the B.Tech/B.E, B.Arch and
B.Planning courses offered to 32,874 seats by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28
Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes.
JEE Main and NEET have been postponed. The new
dates for JEE Main are September 1 to 6,. NEET 2020 will be held on
September 13 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. 2020.

Agency (NTA) has postponed JEE Main and NEET. In a tweet by the HRD minister
Ramesh Pokriyal 'Nishank', the new dates have been announced. The new JEE Main
2020 exam dates are September 1 to 6; NEET 2020 exam date is September 13 while
JEE Advanced exam date is September 27. NTA was scheduled to conduct the
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination
(JEE) Main 2020 in July. With rising COVID-19 cases across the nation, the
demand for NEET and JEE postponement was also on the rise. Social media was
flooded with the questions “Will NEET or JEE Main 2020 postponed again?”. As
per the latest news on NEET & JEE Main, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal
‘Nishank’ had asked NTA to review the situation and submit the report on NEET
& JEE Main conduction latest by July 3, 2020.
NEET 2020 was to be held on July 26 for 16.84 lakh registered
aspirants and JEE Main exam from July 18 to 23 for more than 9 lakh aspirants.
