Coronavirus India News LIVE Updates: Today is the eighty-fourth day of India’s nationwide lockdown, meant to curb the novel coronavirus pandemic. Confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stand at 3,43,091. The death toll from the outbreak in India is at 9,900. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat have reported the highest number of cases.

Due to the fear of the coronavirus pandemic, students across the country are demanding to cancel or postpone the upcoming exam. Almost everyday tweets showing job seekers’ requests to cancel the exam.

A few days back, #Postponecet trend appeared on the Social Media platform and students sought Maharashtra Gov.to cancel or Postpone the exams that were scheduled to be held in the coming days.

Now, not only MHT CET students but, also CS, NEET, JEE Main, all candidates are rallying on the Twitter timeline to postpone the exam during the pandemic.  #HealthOverExams are heavily trending on social media and student and parents urging the respective conducting body to consider their plea.

All these exams are now slated to be held in July 2020. However, students of all the above examinations want exams to be cancelled or postponed until the spread of the virus is contained.
