Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is in its final phase of answer copies evaluation - The HSC, SSC Results 2020 would soon be declared after the evaluation is completed
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE is in its last phase of completing the evaluation of answer sheets of HSC, SSC exams. The candidates who have written exams this year are facing delayed results due to pandemic outbreak followed by the lockdown. As per the education minister Varsha Gaikwad, the results would be declared by next month.
The results have been delayed as the state of Maharashtra is facing the outbreak of a pandemic coronavirus with increasing numbers of patients every single day. After reconsideration and analysis of the situation, the government has begun with paper correction. As per the updates by a local daily, the correction of Secondary and Higher Secondary answer sheets is in progress and 85 per cent of the evaluation work has been completed.
Many cities in Maharashtra have been declared as containment zones or red zones. The teachers and the officials were not allowed to move out of their homes due to the norms of these zones. The evaluation process had begun late in the state thus. However, there has been no update about the date of announcing the results. The highest number of copies are in the Mumbai division that is to be evaluated.
There were reports that the results would be declared by June 10, but, the government took steps to ensure the safety of the teachers. Moreover, teachers also found it troublesome to travel with no road transport available to them.
Also, the education department of Maharashtra cancelled the geography exam of class 10 recently that was pending. Now the students will be marked based on aggregates marks obtained in all subjects. The candidates need to check the official website for updates.
